But for some reason, I liked the movie but it was just bleh. I was somewhat disappointed. It was visually striking though!Real Queen of Horrorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06786342064401390635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3418206021884893906.post-58138665335698506302012-02-22T02:05:20.360-08:002012-02-22T02:05:20.360-08:00I'm not much of a fan on supernaturals, but I ...I'm not much of a fan on supernaturals, but I guess I could give it a go.Kaijinuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11481843593274086819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3418206021884893906.post-30880603433368608592012-02-21T22:04:27.799-08:002012-02-21T22:04:27.799-08:00Hi Carol.

I never, ever watch them until after Ive seen the film. I did happen to watch the WOMAN IN BLACK trailer after the film, and i agree, it gave away almost all the frightening moments. Its a common trend now, and it infuriates me. I honestly urge people to aviod trailers at all cost, expecially horror trailers. The studios regard us as, lets just say, less that intelligent.

On a lighter note, you simply must get your hands on the 1989 TV version. I was disappointed in the fact that most of the trailers gave away too much and it took away from the scare in the theater. Most disappointing though was the end...too cheezy and predictable. I have to say that I haven't read or seen any other adaption of The Woman in Black so this was completely new to me, maybe the others were better?Carol's Creationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11448173987138451882noreply@blogger.com
